A cacher by the name of Pirate-DanBo had a great idea on the geocaching.com forums. He was asking for a template that automagically displayed the GC number for his cache hides so he can print,cut it out and spray paint the code on his ammo can or other suitable container.

Knowing a fair bit about Flash, I figured this was a good solution to the Pirate's problem. So over my morning coffee, I spent a half hour seeing if I could come up with something.

Click on the splotch to go use it:

1. 1.You need Adobe Flash to see the stencil
   

2. 2.Enter your GC Code
   

3. 3.Right click (Option click on a mac) and select PRINT.
   Don't select print from the browser menu.
   

4. 4.In your print options you can print to whatever size you wish.
   The quality of the printout will not change if you do as step 3 says.
   

5. 5.If you want to do a real bang up job, place acetate over the print out
   and cut that out. Ideally use spray glue to keep the stencil in place.
   This will prevent the paint from leaking underneath
   the stencil.
   

6. 6.Use the dots and lines to help you line up the elements.
